Pen or pencil in the Writing papers?

In the Writing papers for most Cambridge English Qualifications, the candidates should write in pen.

However, for A2 Key for Schools and A2 Key, Reading and Writing are combined in the same paper so candidates should write in pencil. It is important that they write firmly and clearly using a B or HB pencil so that their answers can be read easily.

This helps us to process candidates’ results more efficiently, so please could you remind your students before their exam and tell them to follow the instructions on their question paper and answer sheet.
